what perennial can tolerate full sun, and nightly water via sprinkler?

I need help choosing a perennial that can tolerate strong sun and hot summer. my problem is my neighbor waters her garden every night via sprinkler, which soaks my plants
as well. I had alot of mildew last year. what might be able to withstand this?

Doug says that this is indeed an interesting problem. If I was to make a guess - and it's only a guess - I'd suggest plants that tolerate wet soils might be able to tolerate a bit more humidity.

As well, you really do want to space out your perennials to allow extra air circulation.

I'd be tempted to talk to the neighbor - explain that a nightly watering is wrecking their garden.

Or put up some kind of fence that blocks the water (and is really ugly on their side) :-)
