striped hostas lost their stripes

I have hostas planted in an area that received good sunlight, and they have lost their stripes, they are now dark green.


Doug says 1) hosta want shade and 2) some varieties will "revert" back to straight green from the variegation. It happens. Not much you can do about it - dig and compost or learn to enjoy the green foliage. :-)
