phlox seed replanting

Doug says that if your tall garden phlox have produced seed and if you can get them - then yes, you can grow your own. They won't look like the mother plant (she's a hybrid and they don't come true from seed) but that's half the fun of not knowing what's going to come.
Treat them like any perennial and you have a choice - try reading the articles on perennial plant propagation right here for full instructions and option.
The easiest is to scatter the seed right at the base of the plant and let Mother Nature do it for you.
You might also try a search for seed germination a there are many articles up on my other sites about germinating perennial seeds.
Good luck
