Can ornamental herbs be used as culinary herbs?

Doug says that an herb is an herb. And they all can serve multiple uses in a garden - ornamental as well as culinary or medicinal.

So yes, ornamentals can be culinary or perhaps it's better to say that culinary herbs can also be ornamental. :-)

The only difficulty of course is when we harvest them for use, the ornamental value diminishes because of the pruning.
