Ornamental grass not growing

I planted the grass attached picture (not sure of the type of grass) last spring, it looked great and did great all last year. However it has not shown any sign of life yet this spring. I live in Kansas City, Kansas and we have had a mild Spring, not averaging 60 degrees quite yet. I have a total of 8 of them planted in thh back yard in a variety of spots and all of them look the same, no growth at all.

Doug says I can't tell which grass it is either from this picture but I can tell you that you're going to have to be patient. Grass is often one of the last plants to spring to life in the garden. And regardless of whether you think it's been an early spring or not - the plants get to decide (usually based on soil temperatures) and when that gets warm enough, the plants will appear. That's always assuming they are perennials and not annual grasses. :-)
