Need to identify a perennial

I have a perennial growing in my garden and I don't know the name of it. It has fuzzy leaves and looks very much like lamb's ears until a little deep red/burgundy flower appears. It blooms for a very long time, and it seems to start new plants everywhere.

Doug says that you should upload a picture of this plant to the perennial and plant identification page where readers help you do this. Click here

Unfortunately it is not in bloom at this time of year, so I would only be posting a picture of the leaves.
