i bought a mums plant . i want to know if i can plant it outside

Doug says you can plant it outside for sure but it isn't likely going to overwinter in Montreal if it's a florist mum. The hardy mums are the best for that and you'll find them in good nurseries or some of the better markets in the city. Good luck
