hosta aerial plantlets

at the end of the season comes and the tall chutes from the hostas are flowerless they grow new leaves if planted will those grow?

Doug says he's never tried - I rather doubt they'll survive the winter outdoors without roots of any kind. But you won't know until you try. :-) Let me know
