hollyhock leaves are yellow

Of my three hollyhock plants, one has yellowed, anemic looking leaves. All were in approximately the same soil and sunlight.
What's up with this?
Doug says he has no idea. "approximately" the same soil usually means something different as soil can vary from one spot in the garden to another.
And a dog may have urinated on it - or a slug chewed halfway through the stem.
If it's a brand new planting (you don't say) it could be transplant shock.
Way too many variables to answer properly from this distance and info
Let me suggest you take s really good look at the base and leaves of the plant. Try to sort out if there's an insect (like spider mite) or something chewing stems.
And then water it with fish emulsion to see if that will bring it back.
Good luck.
