Echinacea stem cuttings

Is it possible to grow cone flowers from stem cuttings? I have searched and searched and can't seem to get a good answer. I tried saving the seed but the plant won't come true on my Kim's Mop Head. They came up pink. Pretty, but not what I wanted.

Doug says that stem cuttings won't work without a leaf, but tip cuttings do. As will division. And no, seed won't come true on hybrids.
