dead heading Jacob's Ladder

Should Jacob's Ladder be dead headed? Will it make the plant bloom more? Or will it make it bloom again?

Doug says he seldom deadheads this plant - other than to make it neat. It won't bloom again if you do so clean it up but don't expect extra blooms.
