Cutting Back Perennial Hibiscus

I know nothing about perennial hibscus and I cut it down to about 3 or 4 inches from the ground. will it grow back?

Doug says absolutely it will grow back - I cut them back to the ground every fall. They're late in the spring to come up so you do have to have patience.

I have a huge one (about 5 - 6' tall with flowers the size of dinner plates) in my garden and yes I cut it right back to about 4". It comes back beautifully every spring and blooms in Aug - Oct. I live near Toronto Ontario.
