Christmas rose

How does the Christmas rose protect itself at winter and summer

Doug says that it grows in the summer so it doesn't need protecting. Keeping it out of the sun will prevent leaf scorch or browning. It goes dormant in the winter so the above-ground parts don't have to live. They can be burned to the ground and the roots will regrow nicely.
