Can Shasta Daisy deadheads be saved for seed?

Each year I save the deadheads from my marigolds, let them dry, then get the seed for next years' flower beds. I was wondering if I can do this with my Shasta Daisies, too?

Viable Seed

Most flowers produce viable seed if the seed is allowed to mature on the plant, dried in the sun and is stored in cool dry place until planting

Yes, most deadheads of wildflowers can be saved and plant the seed the following spring or whenever desired.
