Blue flowers for a wedding in November...

by Peter
(Reading)

Hi Doug,
Im getting married in November and am really struggling with finding Blue flowers for the table arrhagements.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Peter

Doug says that he doesn't do wedding flowers. He really suggests folks don't even try growing them for that event as you can't time them the way you like and it's one more major stressor. Don't even tell the bride or bride's mother that the flowers aren't ready -it won't be pretty. :-)

Blue flowers - see a florist. You'll likely wind up with a lot of asters from a greenhouse. (Or painted flowers with accents of color for the rest of the wedding colors) Nothing is going to be really in bloom in the garden that late - even in the UK. Or if it is still in bloom, the quality of the blooms are going to be suspect.
