Black Eyed Susans in NYC

Hello, I live in NYC, I have a balcony that gets a lot of sun. Is it possible to successfully grow black eyed susans in my flower box?

Doug says absolutely - you can grow a ton of them - the dwarf varieties are perfectly suited for container gardening. The annuals will flower all season for you while the larger perennial forms tend to flower in the late summer into fall.

But no problem - go for it!
