Doug says it sounds as if you have these plants in a semi-shade area. They do tend to get a bit floppy and your choice is to stake them or get rid of them and get a shorter, blockier plant. They can be moved in spring or fall when they are dormant and not growing strongly (as can all perennials). Will they flower again? It depends on the plant but it doesn't hurt to prune them back after they've finished flowering - you might indeed get another bloom. Cut them about half-way back to the ground.
