bittersweet flowers

I planted 2 Celastrus Scandens last year - 1 male and 1 female. Although they are growing well in full sun with shoots up to 6 ft long I am disappointed that they have not flowered yet. AM I too impatient or have I done something wrong?

Doug says you are too impatient. It will take several years to establish and get a berry good flowering :-)
