Ask A Gardening Question

Dear Reader

This is a general "ask-me" form that I check regularly and use to try to help gardeners with their perennial garden problems.

The more specific you are in your question - the better the chance I, or some other volunteers, can help you. Tell us everything relevant - what conditions the plant is in (sun, shade etc) how much water, what's going on around it etc etc. The more details you add the more likely you'll get an answer that helps.

Before You Ask A Gardening Question Though

Let me suggest you run a search for your gardening question instead

Search Here

Let me suggest you run a search right here - there are over 1000 articles on these web pages to help you garden. And over 75% of questions get have already been answered in articles.

Not only are there articles on this website - there are over 6000 articles and questions already answered on all my websites and this search box is hooked into all of them.

How To Get Your Question Answered

1) Enter your email into the box. I don't use your email other than to send you updates and answers so if I can't contact you to give you an answer, I don't answer the question.

2) Give us more information than you think we need. "Why did my plant die?" isn't enough info for us. You have to tell us the where, how, what, when of it all. What were you doing or not so we can help you.

3) Check the search box above -if it's been answered before, I won't answer it now Hey - if you don't want to spend time reading the articles and answers we've already done - why would I ask my other readers to repeat themselves.

4) If at all possible, add a picture Questions with relevant pictures stand a better chance of being answered.

5) Thank the volunteer or person who answers your question.
Answers will be in the comments sections below the questions.
