Agapanthus

by Patricia Bays

I planted some dwarf agapanthus last year and this year I note that there are long roots that have grown out of the ground and under the leaves. Is this normal? Shall I cut the roots off?

Doug says - let me suggest you go to the new gardening forum I just set up and ask this question in the Southern section under bulbs. A local gardener will be able to help you out. In my area, Agapanthus are not hardy.
